2024 Celebrations

HOPE Values…All People without Exception

  • Hosted New Member meals and strengthen contact with guests.
  • Served as host for Chamber Coffee and New Teacher breakfasts.
  • Another successful Community Garden season.
  • Wednesdays of HOPE sessions offered and flex confirmation ministry.
  • Made positive connections with neighbors and community at Meet River Falls, National Night Out, Trunk or Treat, Celebrate HOPE, and more!
  • Completed a large A/V upgrade in the sanctuary and Winds of the Sprint, making things more accessible to all.

HOPE Values…Serving Generously

  • Gave over $16,000 beyond budget to mission partners including Malawi well project, Our Neighbors Place, Food Pantry, Backpack program and more!
  • Adopted 2 Turning Point families at Christmas.
  • Began relationship with Falcon Links program.
  • Provided meals for WOH participants.
  • Gave out over 500 free root beer floats at Meet River Falls.
  • Participated in the River Falls Feed My Starving Children.
  • Met increased budget need for paying musicians.
  • Helped clean and organize HOPE’s property.

HOPE Values…Spiritual Nourishment

  • Enhanced the worship experience during Advent, Lent, and Easter with intentional themes.
  • Implemented new art into the worship space.
  • Hosted multiple adult forum conversations.
  • Provided monthly care notes to home-bound members and guests.
  • Hosted new summer youth events.
  • Confirmed 2 young people.
  • Commissioned new paraments for the 20th anniversary celebration.

HOPE Values…Our Connection with Creation

  • Celebrated Season of Creation.
  • Implemented the use of sustainable paper products into funeral and event policies.
  • Used biodegradable cups and spoons for Meet River Falls event.
  • Purchased glass communion cups, reducing use of plastic.
  • Completed another burn and seeding for native prairie restoration.
  • Hosted Creation Prayer Flag table at River Falls EarthFest.
